Welcome to the Ceilidh Room, in Glenshee in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The Ceilidh Room studio is where I use wool, silk and natural fibres to make beautiful pieces of felt and fibre art that reflect the Scottish countryside.

Most of my work is a mix of wet felting and needle felting, giving a lovely combination of depth with texture, combined with fabulous colours. Please take a look at my Gallery to see some examples of my work.

Felt-making is an almost magical process, creating a picture, an object or a piece of clothing from the merest whispers of merino, mulberry silk, bamboo fibre or curly wool locks. Bringing the finished piece together is almost like helping a miracle to happen!
